Relaxation and Hypnosis

Relaxation training traditionally focuses on issues related to anxiety. Through relaxation, an individual learns to cope with physical symptoms of anxiety and various stressors in his or her life.

Hypnosis is a technique employed to modify problem behaviors and may address concerns such as weight loss or smoking cessation. It is most important, however, that the individual seeking hypnotherapy be motivated to change. Without self-motivation, hypnosis is unlikely to be successful.
